The Hotel Maintenance Supervisor plays a key supporting leadership role, working directly with the Chief Engineer to ensure the safety, functionality, appearance, and overall condition of our luxury Curio Collection by Hilton property.
This hands-on position will assist the Chief Engineer with supervising maintenance team members, coordinating daily work orders, implementing preventive maintenance programs, conducting property inspections, and ensuring guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and building equipment are maintained to exceptional luxury hotel standards.
Key responsibilities include supporting the Chief Engineer with daily departmental operations, troubleshooting and coordinating repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, painting, kitchen equipment, and general building systems. The Maintenance Supervisor will also help prioritize maintenance requests, monitor equipment performance, and ensure repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to guests.
Additional responsibilities include assisting the Chief Engineer with team training and development, scheduling, work assignments, productivity, inventory management, vendor coordination, and compliance with safety procedures and applicable regulations. The Maintenance Supervisor will serve as a point of contact for daily maintenance needs and help oversee departmental operations in the Chief Engineer's absence, within assigned authority.
This position will collaborate closely with Housekeeping, Front Office, Food & Beverage, Security, and hotel leadership to address maintenance needs promptly and support a seamless guest experience.
The ideal candidate has previous hotel maintenance or engineering experience with demonstrated supervisory or leadership skills. Strong technical knowledge of building systems, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and general repairs is essential. Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative, hands-on leadership approach are highly valued.
Previous luxury or full-service hotel experience is highly preferred, and Hilton or Curio Collection experience is a plus.
Schedule flexibility, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call responsibilities, may be required based on hotel operational needs.
Support the Chief Engineer. Lead by example. Maintain the excellence behind every exceptional stay.
