Summary

The Lodge Assistant responsibilities include all aspects of cleaning the common areas of the hotel including restrooms, eating areas, hallways, and lobbies. You will also address guests’ queries and assist other departments as needed. Duties will likely include light maintenance work. Ultimately, you will ensure a pleasant and comfortable experience for our guests during their stay with us.

Essential Functions

• Clean guest facing and back office areas
• Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards
• Sweep, mop and vacuum hallways, back offices and common areas
• Wipe down tables, chairs, desks, walls, equipment etc.…
• Assist other departments as needed
• Dust furniture and fixtures
• Follow hotel security guidelines
• Manage time and duties wisely

Education, Experience, Other Requirements

Required

• Flexibility to work in shifts and report for scheduled shifts
• Excellent organization skills
• Ability to follow instructions

Preferred

• High School Diploma
• Work experience as a Room Attendant or Maid
• Experience with hotel cleaning standards and products
