Houseperson Overview:

As a Houseperson/ Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the cleanliness of the lobby as well as the maintenance upkeep of the hotel.  The houseperson would be responsible for creating a clean and inviting public area, while the maintenance engineer is responsible for providing a fully functional and safe environment for the arrival of our guests.  A  houseperson/engineeris a very important role within the hotel wearing many hats and delivering excellent customer service with a smile.

Responsibilities include:

  • Greeting guests and responding to queries.

  • Sweeping and mopping floors.

  • Vacuuming carpets.

  • Dusting and polishing furniture.

  • Emptying trash containers.

  • Restock and clean housekeeping closets.

  • Cleaning public areas, such as corridors.

  • Driving the shuttle as requested by the guests.

  • Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned

  • Snow Removal (Must be able to shovel snow)

  • Minor Maintenance (Electrical, Plumbing, painting, caulking)

  • Reporting any technical issues and maintenance needs.

  • Returning and restocking cleaning supplies at shift end.

Job Requirements:
