Banquet Host / Cashier

Job Functions:

This description is a summary of primary responsibilities and qualifications.  The job description is not intended to include all duties or qualifications that may be required now or in the future.  The Hotel operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, so operational demands require variations in shift days, starting times, and hours worked in a week.

• Greets and engages all Guests in a warm and friendly manner, making a Famous first impression. 
• Direct Guests to their banquet room 
• Assists in maintaining the overall Guest flow of the Banquet space. 
• As Guests are departing, inquire about their experience at the event they attended
• Obtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies.
• Obtaining change required for expected business level, and keeping bank secure at all times. 
• Count bank at the end of each shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Management

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
2. Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hospitality or event setting, is advantageous.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact courteously and effectively with guests and colleagues.
4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in managing multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.
5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
