Recruiting for a Full Time/Permanent Security Guard for our resort property.
Security Guard
Full-Time
Main Duties:
- Conduct regular foot patrols of the entire premises as well as monitoring front entrance and cameras
- Secure all exits
- Respond to alarms and noise complaints
- Interact with guests, employees and members of the public to provide direction and promote good customer service while providing a security presence.
- Document a nightly report on activities through the night
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience
- Valid BC Security Worker’s License with Security Guard endorsement
- Physical ability to stand and/or patrol for a majority of an 8-hour shift.
- Experience or can demonstrate to have a keen eye for watching and reporting irregularities
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Utilizing technology including writing reports, tracking patrols in a smart phone and communicating via two-way radio.
- Integrity, eagerness, and willingness to make solid decisions
