Description

What will I be doing?

As a member of Hilton’s Global HR Systems and Support team you will be responsible for system configuration, leading project initiatives to support payroll performance improvements, developing reports using Oracle’s Transaction Business Intelligence (OTBI) reporting tool, leading the business through quarterly software releases, and identifying and implementing system related efficiencies.

More specifically, you will: 

  •    Provide Global HR Technology payroll support on the Oracle Cloud – Payroll Module
  •    Support configuration efforts in the Oracle Cloud application including the creation of new earnings and deduction codes - elements. 
  •    Participate in system regression and user acceptance testing for Oracle Cloud system and product releases, and test new initiatives and business process modifications. 
  •    Responsible for managing new and ongoing Oracle Service Requests and internal Change Requests, ensuring all required information is provided and work towards resolution.
  •    Creating OTBI Reports, and working with our other Technology partners to create/update reports for Global Payroll teams 
  •    Assist in researching and providing resolution for Hilton Service Now tickets requiring in-depth and root cause data analysis on issues presenting in the system and implementing tested solutions.

    To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications: 

  •    Knowledge of statutory UK employment legislation, taxation, and/or payroll calculations
  •    Basic arithmetic skills for calculations
  •    Proficient and experienced in UK Payroll Processing
  •    Adept arithmetic skills essential for accurate computation of mid to complex payroll calculations
  •    Thorough understanding of generating reports and analyzing data 
  •    Advanced reporting tools such as Excel; formulas including VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, creating pivot tables 
  •    Oracle Transaction Business Intelligence Reporting(OTBI), Power BI, or Tableau is a plus
  •    Mid to Advance experience with MS Office 365: Word/PowerPoint/MS Outlook/MS Calendar/SharePoint
  •    Proficient in reading, writing, and comprehension, with a demonstrated ability to effectively interpret and analyze written material
  •    Strong comprehension skills to grasp complex information and convey ideas accurately in both written and verbal communication
  •    Experience with full life cycle, functional and technical software testing
  •    Knowledge of Oracle Cloud – Payroll Module

    It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  •    Experience with HR, Finance, Accounting, or Payroll integrated systems and products 
  •    Experience in Oracle Cloud (Human Capital Management Modules) application strongly desired
  •    Entry level experience with SQL coding strongly desired 
  •    Experience in similar Global HRIS and Payroll system administration
  •    Associate in finance, human resources, otherwise previous experience in either field pertaining to Human Resource Information Technology
