Shuttle Driver Overview:
As a Valet, you are often the first and last point of contact for our guests, making your role a vital part of the overall hotel experience. A warm, professional, and welcoming demeanor is essential in creating a positive first impression and leaving a lasting one at departure.
Your responsibilities extend beyond simply parking vehicles. You will assist guests with luggage, provide directions or recommendations when needed, and ensure accurate records are maintained for key and vehicle tracking. Attention to detail, efficiency, and professionalism are critical in delivering seamless service.
Above all, the valet team is expected to deliver exceptional customer service—anticipating guest needs, offering courteous assistance, and upholding the highest standards of hospitality. By doing so, you help set the tone for the guest’s stay and contribute directly to the reputation and success of the hotel.
Responsibilities include:
- Greet and welcome guest to the hotel and offer professional valet services
- Accommodate guests by opening doors and assisting with luggage or other heavy items
- Parking and retrieving guests vehicle within a timely manner.
- Direct traffic in the parking area as needed.
- Collect and accurately label keys belonging to guests to ensure their proper return
- Park guests' vehicles in predetermined areas within the parking lot, following all traffic laws
- Operate vehicles safely and responsibility
- Periods of long term standing walking and/or running.
- Organize and file paperwork regarding guests' vehicles and daily transactions
Have a working knowledge of the local area to provide recommendations.
Job Requirements:
