What You’ll Do

You’ll be an important part of the event experience from the first place setting to the final farewell. With poise, energy, and attention to detail, you’ll ensure every room is ready, every course is served beautifully, and every guest feels genuinely cared for.

• Set up banquet rooms and event spaces as directed by the Director of Banquets, General Manager, or Banquet Captain.
• Complete assigned side work and ensure function areas are polished, stocked, and ready for service.
• Attend pre-shift, pre-function, and service team meetings prepared and engaged.
• Welcome guests warmly, respond promptly to requests, and anticipate needs with thoughtful, attentive service.
• Serve and clear food and beverage courses according to the Banquet Event Order and direction from the Banquet Captain or Director of Banquets.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting ballroom or function area throughout each event.
• Provide service maintenance during programs, ensuring guests and event hosts have everything they need.
• Break down, clean, and reset event spaces following guest departure and event closing.
• Support bartending needs as assigned, including responsible beverage service and event setup, service, and cleanup.

What You Bring To The Table

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Maricopa County Food Service Worker Certification and Arizona Title IV Alcohol Certification.
• One year of high-volume food, beverage, banquet, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Knowledge of, and ability to follow, Maricopa County food regulations and applicable state, federal, and company liquor regulations.
• Basic knowledge of table settings, banquet service standards, and service etiquette.
• The ability to lift and carry trays weighing up to 40 pounds through active, crowded event spaces.
• The ability to listen carefully, follow direction, complete tasks effectively, and communicate clearly with guests and teammates.
• A professional appearance and grooming standards appropriate for an elevated destination hospitality environment.
