Big Sky Resort is the gem of Boyne Resorts and has been in operation since 1973.  It is located in Southwest Montana, 45 miles south of Bozeman, and is home to the Biggest Skiing in America.  Big Sky is a ski and summer resort and operates for both the Winter and Summer Seasons.  With 3 hotels, more than 8 food outlets, and countless vacation rentals Big Sky Resort has over 750 lodging units and provides a unique world class resort experience.  

Big Sky Resort has 5,850 skiable acres, over 300 named runs and 38 lifts.  Accessing the tallest scenic over look in Montana, Lone Peak Tram accesses Lone Peak at 11,166 ft.  Lone Peak has 360 degrees of breathtaking views, 22 different mountain ranges, 3 states, and 150 miles south to the Grand Teton!  Our Mountain Village has restaurants, shopping, and space to relax with family and friends.  Just a short drive down the mountain is Big Sky town with more shopping, restaurants, and a strong community full of adventure and activities.  

Located just 45 minutes from the West Entrance to Yellowstone National park, Big Sky Resort is a hub for summer recreation.  Nestled along side the Gallatin National Forrest and the stunning Gallatin River, the area has hiking, fishing, biking, and adventures for any desire.  The Resort is home to the only lift served biking terrain in the area, with access over 40 miles of mountain bike trails.
