MGFD is the ultimate showcase for James Beard Award-winning chef/owner Michael Schwartz's fresh, simple, pure approach -- clean, vibrant flavors built on what's fresh and in season from only the best sources.

From the moment you walk through the door, greeted with a smile and oysters piled high on the raw bar, the energy of our main dining room is palpable. The action emanates from our open kitchen, food bar stacked with fresh ingredients and our cooks bustling about, stoking the wood oven's flames as whole fish, chicken, vegetables and pizzas fly in and out.  Choose a table or cozy booth indoors under the warm glow of our red lanterns or settle into the sun-speckled courtyard.  Our welcoming bar is always a friendly choice, whether for lunch, dinner, or a midday break with our afternoon menu served from 3 to 5:30 p.m.Monday through Saturday. Enjoy 1/2 off oysters, snacks, cocktails, wine and beer at Happy Hour weekdays from 4:30-7:30 p.m. beginning Tuesday, March 14. Sunday Brunch is where our small plates shine on a weekly-changing menu of savory and sweet including everything from breakfast pizza topped with a local farm egg and house smoked bacon to decadent treats like sticky toffee buns and lemon ricotta pancakes — it’s the perfect, memorable way to spend the last day of the weekend.
