Night Auditor

The ideal candidate for this position

• Previous hotel front desk experience is required.
• Balance and audit room revenue and food and beverage revenue for accuracy; assist in the preparation of all reports relevant to daily revenues.
• Reconcile all hotel cashier transactions; reviewing, organizing and compiling management reports on a timely basis and ensuring the accuracy of guest billings and city ledger transactions.
• Complete and transmit daily management/accounting reports with any supporting documentation ensuring the accurate accounting of the hotel revenues and expenses.
• Acts as Manager on Duty for the overnight front desk shift at the hotel.
• Retail responsibilities of stocking, completing inventory, and entering new inventory into the system one night per week.
• Provide exceptional customer service experience on the phone and in person.  
• Responsible for ensuring 100% satisfaction from the moment a guest arrives at the hotel until they check out.
• Perform the functions of the front desk including processing all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning room, and issuing and activating room key.
• Log and resolve all guest comments or complaints to ensure all guests leave our hotels 100% satisfied.
• Complete all required tasks and reports on the shift checklist.
• Maintain cash bank per accounting guidelines.
• Maintain positive working relationships with others
• The ability to input and access information in the property management system and/ or point-of sale system
• Follow all company policies and procedures
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by management
• Maintain effective communication within the front office and with all hotel departments.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards

Job Requirements

• Dependability and punctuality is not negotiable
• 2-3 nights per week, 11pm-7am shifts
• Possessing strong communication skills
• Previous hotel front desk experience is required
