Compensation: 86,000 - 98,000, Control Remoto Híbrido, Tiempo Completo

Purpose: The purpose of the Accounting Manager is to assist in the management of the period close process, assist with audit activities, analyze accounting data and prepare internal management reports that maintain the integrity of the Corporate General Ledger system SAP Financials.

Essential Functions:

  • Assists with month-end closings
  • Assists with audit activities with external auditor (Deloitte)
  • Supports Director with General Ledger maintenance activities
  • Performs balance sheet analysis and reconciliations
  • Assists with documentation over key accounting processes
  • Runs periodic financial reports daily during month-end close
  • Responsible for assigned balance sheet accounts for month-end close
  • Prepares various schedules for financial reporting and auditing and serves as interface with external audit teams during internal control and financial statement audits
  • Interacts on a regular basis with Corporate Accounting and Systems personnel as well as field finance, and branch leadership

Reporting Relationship: The Accounting Manager reports into the Director of Retail Accounting

Major Interdependencies: Finance, Systems, Operations

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment: 

The combination of education and professional experience must exceed 5 years:

In a technical role: Requires 5 years of business analysis experience

A bachelor’s degree in Accounting can count for 3 of the five-year requirement

In the industry: Hospitality, F&B and/or Retail experience – 3-5 years

Specialized Training:

Training that leads to an in-depth understanding of Accounting function

  • CPA or progressive work towards CPA preferred
  • SAP and General Ledger experience

Demonstrated history of anticipating the needs of the business and complex stakeholders

Demonstrated experience exhibiting a continuous improvement mindset with the ability to optimize work processes and achieve positive results

Business acumen and also has the mindset required to understand the long-term implications of Business Analysis and to advance the organizations goals

Location: Requires regular/hybrid presence in New Jersey Centers of Excellence
