Mixologist

Description

DoubleTree Hotel by the Galleria is looking for someone that is vibrant, outgoing and passionate about service excellence. If you thrive on creating memorable guest experiences and have a flair for innovative cocktail design, this opportunity could be your perfect fit.

Required Skills & Abilities:

-Three (3) years of mixologist experience

-Cocktail drink and menu design experience

-Flexible availability to work any shift, including holidays and weekends

-Must have the ability to communicate in English both verbal and written

-Comfortable in working with computers for cashiering duties

-Must be able to stand/walk for at least eight (8) hours

-Able to lift/carry at least 30 pounds

-TABC and Food Handler certification required

Job Description:

-Set up bar, requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits and paper products

-Perform all closing duties including cleaning the bar and lounge area

-Greet and engage with guests at the bar and lounge area in a courteous and friendly manner

-Create craft cocktails and assist with creating cocktail menus

-Abide by all state, federal and hotel requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages and practice prudent portion control
