Job Overview:

The Director of Hotel Operations is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the hotel. This role oversees all departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and engineering. The Director of Hotel Operations ensures smooth operations, guest satisfaction, and maximum profitability.

Responsibilities

•      Operational Oversight:
  •   Oversees all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and engineering.
  •   Ensures adherence to all hotel policies and procedures.
  • Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) and takes corrective action as needed.
  • Develops and implements operational strategies to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Guest Experience:
  • Ensures exceptional guest experiences throughout the guest journey.
  • Resolves guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with guests.
• Team Leadership:
  •  Recruits, hires, trains, and develops a high-performing team.
  • Provides leadership and motivation to team members.
  • Conducts regular performance reviews and provides feedback.
•  Financial Performance:
  •  Manages labor costs and controls operational expenses.
  •  Maximizes revenue and profitability.
  •  Develops and implements strategies to increase revenue and reduce costs.
• Quality Assurance:
  •  Ensures compliance with all safety, health, and sanitation regulations.
  •  Conducts regular inspections of the hotel property to maintain high standards.
  •  Implements quality assurance programs to improve service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel operations management.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong financial acumen.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in hotel management software.
