Director of Rooms | Owning the Sleep, the Stay, and Every Detail in Between
As Director of Rooms at Practice Hospitality at Hilton Dallas Park Cities, you will own the end-to-end Rooms Experience—from first impression to final farewell. Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll lead Front Office / Guest Services and Housekeeping, ensuring that every stay reflects exceptional cleanliness, consistency, comfort, and care.
This role is deeply guest-facing and detail-driven. You are the steward of how the hotel feels to sleep in, wake up in, and return to—day after day. From room readiness and labor strategy to guest recovery and team pride, you’ll set the standard for what “great” looks like in the most personal part of the guest journey.
From check-in to check-out, from lobby greetings to perfectly turned rooms, you’ll bring structure, accountability, and heart to the daily rhythm of the property—ensuring the rooms division operates seamlessly, efficiently, and with intention.
In this role, you will:
Lead, train, and support Guest Services and Housekeeping leaders, building teams grounded in hospitality, ownership, and pride of place
Own room inventory readiness, cleanliness standards, and consistency across all guest accommodations
Ensure daily rooms operations reflect Practice Hospitality standards for service, safety, sustainability, and presentation

Establish and maintain systems, processes, and reporting tools that support rooms efficiency and accountability
Lead guest recovery related to rooms concerns with empathy, urgency, and professionalism
Bring calm, capable leadership to both the expected rhythms and unexpected challenges of hotel life
This is a role for a hands-on rooms leader who understands that guest trust is earned in the details—and that strong, supported teams create great stays. Every journey begins with a first step. Maybe yours is focused on growing your career in hospitality – climbing the ladder to management, executive team, corporate or beyond. Maybe you want a stable, fulfilling role where you can thrive or, just maybe, you need a gig for now while you complete your education or audition for your big break.
