The opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a full-time Human Resources Coordinator to join the team for the opening of a new location at Miami Freedom Park in Miami, Florida. As an HR Coordinator, you will be an integral part of the Human Resources team who support a culture where our team members thrive.

$25.00 – $37.00 / hour

What will you do?

  • Assist the HR team with the training and development of Delaware North team members, including orientation
  • Assist with Employee Relations, including managing and resolving workplace issues, providing guidance on policies, and fostering positive employee engagement
  • Support the team with internal and external HR related inquiries and requests
  • Participate in recruiting efforts
  • Prepare pre-employment paperwork and initiate the new hire process for incoming team members
  • Maintain employee training records and ensure team members receive refresher training when required
  • Follow compliance and company regulations when working with sensitive and confidential information

More about you

  • At least 1 year of prior human resources experience including recruiting, employee relations and onboarding experience
  • Bilingual Spanish/English a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, decision-making, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
  • Working knowledge of HR and employment laws is a plus
  • Hospitality and/or sport services experience a plus
  • Flexible work schedule availibility – able to work on event days
