The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a full-time or part-time HR Coordinator to join our team at Wuksachi Lodge in Sequoia National Park, California. As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will be responsible for serving as a primary point of contact for routine inquiries while ensuring accurate systems, documentation, and onboarding processes. $24.00 – $29.00 / hour

What will you do?

  • Serve as the first point of contact for HR and housing inquiries, providing timely responses and escalating issues when necessary 
  • Support onboarding and offboarding by scheduling start dates, coordinating orientation, processing exits, and managing related logistics 
  • Guide team members in using HR systems and resources including Workday, OKTA, policies, benefits, and training materials 
  • Maintain accurate payroll, personnel files, housing records, and compliance documentation; distribute paychecks and assist with audits 
  • Coordinate housing operations such as move-ins, move-outs, inspections, documentation, and housing-related events 
  • Manage calendars and organize training sessions, ensuring deadlines, materials, and resources are prepared and available 

More about you

  • High school degree or GED required, PHR certification preferred  
  • Minimum of 1 year of administrative or HR support experience  
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and experience using WorkDay or a comparable HRIS system 
  • Must have a valid California driver’s license 
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Must be able to work and live on-site at Sequoia National Park – employee housing provided near Wuksachi Lodge
