We’re looking for a bartender to join our Courtyard Bistro team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a slower-paced, guest-focused environment, values consistency, and takes pride in delivering great service without the chaos of a high-volume bar scene.
Our Bistro is not a late-night or party-style bar. It’s a relaxed hotel setting where guests are winding down after travel, grabbing a drink before dinner, or having a casual nightcap. If you’re used to high-volume, fast-paced nightlife bars, this environment may feel very different, and that’s intentional.
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Plan and present bar menu
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Requirements
- Proven working experience as a bartender
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Computer literacy
- Knowledge of a second language will be considered a plus
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Relevant training certificate
