📌 Position Summary
The Front Desk Membership Representative is the first point of contact for members, guests, and visitors. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, promoting memberships, handling inquiries, and maintaining a welcoming and organized front desk area.
🧩 Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist members, guests, and visitors in person and over the phone
- Provide accurate information about memberships, programs, and services
- Conduct tours and promote membership benefits to prospective members
- Process new memberships, renewals, guest passes, and program registrations
- Resolve member concerns and escalate unresolved issues to supervisors
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby area
- Monitor and manage check-ins and access control systems
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain accurate records
- Close down the facility at the end of the day (if applicable)
🧠 Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- Basic computer proficiency (e.g., data entry, scheduling software)
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or front desk roles preferred
- CPR/AED and First Aid certifications (may be required within 60 days of hire)
