Role Overview

As the driving force behind our property's maintenance operations, you will oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, life safety, and energy management. Your leadership will ensure the infrastructure remains pristine, safe, and efficient, aligning with Marriott's esteemed standards.

Core Responsibilities

• Work closely with leadership to conduct daily property inspections, identifying safety, cleanliness, and maintenance needs.
• Remain on-call to address urgent issues, ensuring prompt solutions.
• Utilize digital platforms to manage and prioritize maintenance requests.
• Troubleshoot and oversee essential systems including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• Maintain a comprehensive preventive maintenance schedule.
• Manage vendor contracts and oversee outsourced services.
• Coordinate with local inspectors to guarantee compliance with regulatory standards.
• Hire, train, and lead a proficient maintenance team.
• Ensure the property grounds and pool areas are immaculate and visually appealing.
• Attend management meetings and collaborate with other departments for seamless operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year experience in a similar leadership role or 2-3 years in a hospitality or commercial environment.
• Proficiency in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and building systems.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and building codes.
• Strong communication skills and team leadership ability.
• Flexible scheduling availability, including on-call shifts.
• EPA Universal Certification or CPO certification is a plus.

Physical Demands

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Comfortable working in diverse environments including tight spaces and outdoor conditions.
