Junior Concierge
Reports to: Chef Concierge
Salary: $25 - $30 per hour
Fouquet’s New York is looking for a qualified and highly motivated Junior
Concierge who shares a passion for Hospitality.
Responsibilities:
● Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor and provide excellent customer relations, with
confidentiality and discretion.
● Maintain knowledge of hotel policies including room rates, discounts, special offerings,
and events.
● Focus on driving guest satisfaction and team performance to the highest level of service.
● Resolve customer complaints, and anticipate potential problems by reviewing and
monitoring operational issues, business flow and associate performance.
● Greet guests when they enter the building and guide them to their designated areas if
needed
● Review arriving and in-house guest experiences with a heightened focus on VIP guests.
● Manage VIP arrival experiences.
● Personalized Services: Anticipate guest needs and preferences to deliver personalized services
● Arrange special requests and look for ways to surprise and delight guests
● Travel and Transportation: Arrange transportation for guests, including airport transfers, as directed chauffeur service, car rentals, limousine services, charter flights and charter yachts
● Demonstrate first-hand knowledge of recommendations derived from personal and
thorough research
● Arrange tickets for theater, concert, sporting events, local attractions, bar/club and dining reservations.
● Answer guest inquiries, directing phone calls, coordinating travel plans, handling guest complaints and more.
● Oversee and implement Guest Experience initiatives and ideas while working closely with upper management to measure customer service.
● Acquire extensive knowledge of the premises and the nearby venues and businesses to make the most suitable recommendations.
● Maintain updated knowledge of happenings in NYC related to Concierge needs.
● Have a thorough knowledge of all hotel facilities and services.
● Clear, precise and friendly phone etiquette to make reservations, take and distribute messages or redirect calls.
● Responsible for maintaining a clean, neat, and organized surrounding, ensuring a safe and positive environment.
● Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Management.
● Scan through surveys & questionnaires to help create programs that better address the needs of guests to avoid potential issues in the future.
● Respond to all guest needs and requests in a professional, courteous, and detailed manner.
