Summary of Position:
The Server Assistant is responsible for setting and clearing tables, stocking all service stations, and assisting food servers with table service. This position and will help creating genuine hospitality and memorable experiences for our dining guests.
Essential Functions:
- Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting.
- Promptly and consistently reset all service ware as specified with tremendous attention to detail.
- Maintain stock and cleanliness of station.
- Serve guests beverages, breads and butter to begin their dining experience, replenishing as necessary and making guest feel warm and welcome.
- Transport all dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area.
- Other supportive functions as determined by the Supervisor/Managers.
Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma preferred
Certificates or Licenses: Maricopa County Food Service Worker card/certification and Arizona Title IV Alcohol Certification
Experience: Food and beverage experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware.
Ability to memorize and perform Marc & Rose Hospitality and El Chorro purpose, pillars and service essentials.
Personal Characteristics:
• Behaves ethically and honestly
• Communicates effectively: Speaks and listens and engages in a clear, thorough, and timely manner, effectively reading and writing, using the English language (preferred)
• Professional Appearance: (Specific grooming standards are available for review)
