If you fit the qualifications so far, there are just a couple more. The ideal candidate will have wedding market experience, but it isn't required. Marriott experience is a plus, but not required. This position does require previous hotel catering sales experience.
JOB OVERVIEW:
This role is accountable for maximizing banquet food & beverage revenue, meeting room rental and guestroom income while ensuring exceptional guest service standards. The position works closely with all hotel departments to deliver seamless group and event experiences that enhance the hotel’s reputation within the business and social communities.
This position requires extensive knowledge of Food and Beverage etiquette, guest relations and service standards. Strong interpersonal skills to assess client needs, negotiate pricing and provide overall guest satisfaction. Effectively deal with internal and external guests, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy. Presents a professional appearance and manner. Familiarity with the Southeast Asian Wedding Market is preferred.
