The Hilton Garden Inn Stony Brook is searching for a proactive and detail-oriented Building Maintenance Professional to keep our hotel running smoothly and flawlessly! If you enjoy a hands-on role and have a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!

The Hilton Garden Inn Stony Brook is more than just a place to stay- it's a home away from home for our guests. Located on the beautiful campus of Stony Brook University, our hotel has 135 guest rooms, over 3,800 sq. ft. of event space, and is home to our very own restaurant Northern Coast Kitchen & Cocktails.

What will i be doing?

As our Building Maintenance, you will be the cornerstone of our hotels upkeep. Your daily tasks will include conducting routine inspections, perform repairs on HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems. You will also ensure everything from guest rooms to common areas remain in pristine condition. Your role is crucial in maintaining a safe, comfortable, and seamless environment for our guests and staff.

What are we looking for?

  • The ideal candidate must have experience in building maintenance, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting. You must have a strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Certification in maintenance related fields is a plus.
