Description

We are hiring an Executive Sous Chef!

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures all food served meets the highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation, and is prepared in accordance with established recipes and brand expectations across all outlets.
  • Leads, trains, and develops all kitchen associates, ensuring proper execution of job duties, plate presentation, and culinary techniques, while supporting ongoing growth and advancement within the team.
  • Oversees daily kitchen operations, including scheduling, staffing levels, and labor management to align with business needs and budget goals.
  • Maintains clear and consistent communication between kitchen leadership, front-of-house teams, and senior management to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Supports performance management by coaching associates, addressing concerns, and administering disciplinary action in alignment with company policies.
  • Ensures all associates have the proper tools, equipment, and resources needed to perform their roles effectively and safely.
  • Proactively identifies and resolves operational challenges within the kitchen to maintain service standards and efficiency.
  • Actively participates in and may lead departmental meetings, kitchen meetings, inventory processes, and the MOD program.
  • Partners with the Executive Chef in developing and executing goals, standards, and operational strategies that enhance guest experience and drive profitability.
  • Assists in menu development, recipe standardization, and implementation of culinary programs to maintain consistency and innovation.
  • Maintains accurate records including inventory, production logs, recipe documentation, and food cost controls.
  • Provides leadership and full operational oversight of the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef, including supervision of all culinary, utility, and sanitation associates.

Salary - $54,235.30 - $67,794.13 DOE
