The team at Margaritaville Lake Resort is here to create and deliver fun and escapism for our guests, and that means a fin-tastic variety of recreational activities on the resort!  With good pay, extensive benefits and a family atmosphere, we are looking for a friendly, confident and welcoming individual to assist in the running of various activities with guests of all ages, including young children

Job Type: Seasonal

Pay $15.00 per hour

Age Requirement: Must be at least 16 years of age Reports to: Activities Director

As an Activities Attendant, you will often lead the guests in an activity, creating an environment of fun and participation.  You will enjoy talking to people and encouraging young children, especially, to join in and have a go!

Responsibilities include:

• Greet all guests and create a hospitable atmosphere in all areas of the resort.
• Maintain a safe facility and enforce all appropriate safety rules.
• Maintain a clean environment at the pools or at any activity location
• Assist in the set-up or break-down of events.
• Assist with running scheduled events by communicating with, instructing and encouraging with the guests.
• Communicate with and interact with adults and children effectively.

Qualifications

Personal Skills

• Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
• Ability to scrupulously follow all Driftwood and hotel policies and procedures.

• Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care.
• Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to change.
• Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development.

• Conducts him\herself, acts and dresses professionally at all times
• Expresses ideas and conveys information clearly, effectively, and professionally.
• Actively listens to others.
• Conveys company information, decision, or problems to appropriate parties on a timely basis.

• High school education preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to swim well is strongly preferred
• Minimum pulling and lifting of 20 pounds.
• Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
• Hearing, writing. speaking
• Standing for long periods of time.
