The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a full-time Security Manager to join our team at Tenaya Lodge At Yosemite in Fish Camp, California. Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $70,304 – $88,200 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?

  • Identify, investigate, and resolve security and safety issues discovered or brought to the attention of the department 
  • Respond to medical emergencies, alarms, threats, and other incidents, following emergency response procedures.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate security operations to safeguard company assets, team members, guests, and property 
  • Develop, implement, evaluate, and revise security and safety policies and methods to protect personnel against harassment, threats or violence
  • Conduct internal audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of facility, personnel, security, safety, and environmental sustainability programs 
  • Lead department operations, including hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, performance management, and disciplinary actions for security team members
  • Manage investigations, including internal inquiries, surveillance documentation, report writing, and collaboration with Human Resources on policy or property matters 
  • Coordinate security planning for special and high-risk events, perform property inspections for compliance, and support budget management and purchasing  
  • Ability to drive company vehicles throughout property

More about you

  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience required
  • Minimum of 2 years of law enforcement experience is preferred
  • Proficient computer skills, including Word and Excel
  • Capacity to work a flexible schedule to accomodate business levels
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
