Dishwasher

A Dishwasher in a full-service hotel that supports both the kitchen (back of house). In this vital role, you’ll be the backbone of our restaurant operations, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and efficient service flow.

What you will be doing

Key Responsibilities:

Dishwasher Duties (Back of House)

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans
• Operate industrial dish machines
• Maintain clean and organized dish station
• Remove trash and recycling
• Assist with kitchen cleaning tasks
• Support banquet/event breakdown

Busser Duties (Front of House)

• Clear and reset dining tables
• Refill water and beverages
• Assist servers with food delivery
• Keep dining room clean and organized
• Support guests as needed
• Help during banquets or conferences

Requirements: Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules (including nights, holidays and weekends) to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous restaurant or hotel experience is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Basic understanding of culinary or kitchen operations is a plus
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation, serving, and hospitality operations
• Flexible schedule (evenings, weekends, holidays)

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing and walking
• Frequent bending, lifting, and carrying
• Ability to work in hot, wet, and fast-paced conditions
