Your New Role

You’re the backbone of the hotel—the one who keeps everything running smoothly, from the flick of a light switch to the turn of a faucet. As a crucial part of our team, you’ll ensure that every corner of our property is in peak condition, offering a comfortable and delightful experience for guests and a stable, engaging work environment for your teammates.

• Take pride in maintaining the physical integrity of our beautiful historic building through routine upkeep and proactive maintenance.
• Respond with empathy and efficiency to guest concerns—your role directly impacts their stay, and your quick thinking ensures satisfaction.
• Stay safe and keep others safe by adhering to safety guidelines when using tools and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with other hotel departments to guarantee timely resolutions to maintenance needs.
• Be prepared for anything—maintain knowledge of hotel emergency procedures to support both guests and team members in critical situations.

Are You the Right Fit?

Experience & Education

• You have at least 2+ years of maintenance experience, ideally in a hotel or similar environment.
• A High School diploma or equivalent educational certificate is required.
• Electrical and/or plumbing certifications are a plus!
• A valid driver’s license may be needed depending on job duties.

Communication

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are key—you should be able to explain complex issues in simple terms.
• Proficiency in the primary language used in the workplace is a must.

Physical

• Be ready to move! Your job will involve 8+ hours per day of standing, walking, reaching, and bending.
• Occasionally, you’ll need to lift or maneuver items weighing up to 75 pounds.
