Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Check guests in and out efficiently using hotel management software.
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and room assignments.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, resolving issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain accurate records of payments.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready and issues are addressed.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
- Follow hotel policies and procedures to ensure safety and security.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in customer service or front desk roles preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with hotel management software and basic computer skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
- Capability to perform light lifting and office tasks.
Work Environment
- Shift work including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Fast-paced hotel environment requiring excellent customer service and multitasking abilities.
