The Server is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to resort guests while creating a welcoming and memorable dining experience. This position requires professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced resort environment.

Essential Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and provide attentive, friendly, and professional service
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter orders into the POS system
• Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring quality standards are met
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, wine, cocktails, and resort offerings
• Anticipate guest needs and respond to requests efficiently
• Assist with table maintenance, resetting dining areas, and maintaining cleanliness standards
• Work collaboratively with kitchen, bar, and management teams to ensure smooth operations
• Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and company policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or resort serving experience preferred
• Excellent communication and guest service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
• Basic computer and POS system knowledge with assistance as needed
• Flexible schedule required, including weekends and holidays
• Must be dependable, punctual, and team-oriented

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand and walk for up to 8 hours at a time
• Must be able to lift and carry at least 45 pounds
• Must be able to bend, climb, and reach overhead or extended distances
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Must be comfortable performing repetitive movements throughout the shift

Work Environment

This position may involve indoor and outdoor service areas in a luxury oceanfront resort setting. Candidates must be able to work efficiently in warm weather conditions and maintain exceptional guest service standards throughout their shift.
