At the vibrant and trend-setting Moxy Williamsburg, we're looking for a dynamic Sales Manager who thrives on building relationships, creating opportunities, and delivering results. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll be responsible for generating new business, growing existing accounts, and maximizing hotel revenue through strategic sales initiatives and exceptional client engagement.

What You'll Do:

Drive New Business & Revenue Growth

  • Prospect, cold call, network, and develop new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate, group, and local market accounts.
  • Grow existing accounts while identifying opportunities for additional revenue.
  • Achieve monthly room revenue and sales production goals.
  • Conduct outside sales calls, client meetings, and property tours.
  • Target key market segments to maximize occupancy and profitability.

Execute Strategic Sales Initiatives

  • Develop and implement sales strategies that support revenue objectives.
  • Assist with annual sales and marketing planning.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and business opportunities.
  • Partner with hotel leadership and revenue management to optimize market positioning and pricing strategies.
  • Maintain accurate account, prospect, and activity records within CRM and hotel systems.

Build Relationships & Represent the Hotel

  • Serve as an ambassador for the Moxy Williamsburg brand throughout the local community.
  • Attend networking events, industry functions, and trade shows.
  • Deliver engaging presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Ensure a high level of responsiveness and service throughout the sales process.

Collaborate Across Teams

  • Work closely with operations, revenue management, and hotel leadership teams.
  • Support brand sales initiatives and best practices.
  • Assist with onboarding and mentoring team members when needed.
  • Ensure seamless execution of group and corporate business opportunities.

What We're Looking for:

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience; hospitality sales experience preferred.
  • Previous hotel sales experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success achieving or exceeding sales goals.
  • Experience with hotel sales systems and CRM platforms preferred.
  • Strong understanding of hotel revenue management concepts, including RevPAR.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and hotel systems such as STS, StayPMS, and ProfitSword is a plus.
  • Reliable transportation for local client visits and sales calls.

The anticipated compensation range for the position is $70-85k per year. The salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors, including but not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc.
