At Hilton Garden Inn Asheville South, our Guest Service Agents are the heart of the guest experience. As the first and last person our guests interact with, you'll create welcoming first impressions, provide exceptional service throughout their stay, and ensure every guest leaves with a reason to return.

We're looking for someone who is friendly, dependable, and passionate about hospitality. If you enjoy helping others, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and love creating memorable experiences, we'd love to meet you.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Welcome guests with a warm, professional, and genuine attitude.
  • Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
  • Verify reservations, assign guest rooms, and issue room keys.
  • Process payments including cash, credit cards, debit cards, and room charges.
  • Handle guest questions, requests, and concerns while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Resolve guest issues promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping and Engineering to ensure rooms are ready for arriving guests.
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, restaurants, and directions.
  • Complete daily reports and verify front desk records for accuracy.
  • Balance cash drawers and complete end-of-shift cashier responsibilities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk environment.
  • Assist with shuttle transportation when needed, including airport runs.
  • Work collaboratively with all hotel departments to exceed guest expectations.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A passion for hospitality and guest service.
  • Previous customer service experience (hotel experience preferred but not required).
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn hotel operating systems.
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
