We're looking for someone who can't wait to tell that story.  We're searching for an energetic, relationship-driven Catering Sales Manager who loves being out in the community, meeting new people, building partnerships, and showcasing one of Santa Barbara's most unique event venues.

Your Office? All of Santa Barbara.

You'll spend your days where great business happens:

• Networking with local businesses, event planners, wedding professionals, and community organizations.
• Hosting property tours that help clients envision their perfect event.
• Building relationships that turn first-time clients into lifelong partners.
• Prospecting for new business through sales calls, networking events, chamber functions, and industry mixers.
• Creating customized proposals and experiences that help clients say "yes."
• Negotiating contracts and confidently closing new business.
• Collaborating with our culinary, banquet, and operations teams to ensure every event exceeds expectations.
• Staying connected with past clients and uncovering new opportunities to grow business.
• Serving as an ambassador for The Steward throughout Santa Barbara and beyond.

You're organized enough to manage multiple events at once, but personable enough that clients feel like they're working with a trusted advisor, not a salesperson.

What You Bring

• 2+ years of hospitality, catering, hotel, event or similar experience preferred
• A track record of developing new business and growing client relationships
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• A passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences
• Self-motivation, creativity, and an entrepreneurial mindset
• Experience with hotel sales or catering software is a plus
