ARC HOTEL, WASHINGTON DC, SERIES BY MARRIOTT

ARC HOTEL Washington DC has a unique history and an exciting future in the heart of Washington’s Foggy Bottom neighborhood. Originally known as the George Washington University Inn, the hotel was renovated and reimagined in 2018 as ARC HOTEL DC, beginning a new chapter as an independent boutique hotel. In 2026, the property underwent another renovation and joined Series by Marriott, bringing together its independent character and strong connection to the neighborhood with the reach and distinction of the Marriott family of brands.

Located just one block from Washington Circle, ARC HOTEL DC sits at the crossroads of Washington’s academic, cultural, government, and international communities. George Washington University and Hospital, the Kennedy Center, U.S. Department of State, World Bank, International Monetary Fund, Georgetown, the National Mall, and many of the city’s most recognizable landmarks are all nearby.

Our name reflects what we strive to create. An arc is a path connecting two points, and we see hospitality much the same way: connecting our guests to Washington, our associates to new opportunities, and our hotel to the community around us.

Today, ARC HOTEL Washington DC is building on its history while embracing an exciting new chapter. We are looking for hospitality professionals who value genuine service, teamwork, and the opportunity to make an impact. As a newly renovated hotel within Series by Marriott, our associates have the opportunity to be part of a property that combines the personality of a boutique hotel with the strength of a globally recognized hospitality organization.
