The North West Company Poplar River

The North West Company Inc. is proud of the active role we play within the communities we serve, striving to make a positive, progressive difference. Our contributions within the community of Poplar River, MB, are a testament to our commitment. Poplar River First Nation is located about 400 kilometers north of Winnipeg, on the east side of Lake Winnipeg. The community, accessible by winter road and air, has a population of 1,941 as per 2019 Indigenous Services Canada data. Languages spoken in the community include Ojibway and English.
