Horseshoe Casino Lake Charles

Located in Westlake, Louisiana, about 4 miles or so from the City of Lake Charles, Horseshoe Lake Charles is the expanded land-based version of the former Isle of Capri riverboat casino that closed on August 25, 2020. 

Caesars Entertainment Inc. brought the casino ashore on Dec. 12, 2022, and opened with 60,000 sq ft of gaming, including nearly 1,000 slots and more than 40 table games, a WSOP Poker Room, and a Caesars Sportsbook. 

Other property amenities are new food and drink options, including a Brew Brothers Tap House, as well as a completely redesigned smoke-free hotel tower with 253 rooms, a fitness center, pool (summer 2023), a business center and valet and free self-parking for hotel guests.
