Summary

Night Auditor responsibilities include all aspects of Guest Relations including the check-in/out process, handling all inquiries, making or modifying reservations, run night audit reports, recommendations for things to do and places to eat plus anything else that can improve the guests stay. You will also be required to occasionally clean or assist other departments as needed. Ultimately, you will ensure a pleasant and comfortable experience for our guests during their stay with us. Our Night Auditor is professional, courteous, honest and loyal.

Essential Functions

• Run the daily audit, and cash/credit operations to ensure accuracy of the property’s financial and accounting records.
• Process departmental reports. 
• Provide that critical first impression to our guests and have a natural passion for delivering exceptional service.
• Welcome and serve guests in person and over the phone every day.
• Enjoy solving problems, be comfortable using a computer to check guests in and out, and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and confidently.
• Supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest.
• Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Anticipate guests needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
• Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
• Maintain complete knowledge at all times of: a) all hotel features/services, hours of operation. b) All room rates, special packages and promotions. c) Daily house count and expected arrivals/departures. d) Scheduled daily group activities.
• Ensure guest and hotel safety by knowing all safety, security and emergency procedures.
• Attention to detail, organization and follow-up abilities

Education, Experience, Other Requirements

• Reliability to work from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM shifts and report for scheduled shifts
• Must be Punctual and honest.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards
• Excellent organization skills
• Ability to follow instructions
• High School Diploma or GED
• One to two years work experience in Customer Service in the Hospitality Field
• Experience with hotel property management system OnQ.
