The Housekeeping Attendant learns about Housekeeping department’s operations and related skills, works independently at certain service positions, and supports other departments to achieve department targets.  

What will I be doing? 

As the Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: 

  • Log all calls and distribute tasks to relevant team members / departments. 
  • Assist the Assistant Executive Housekeeper with Housekeeping’s store management. 
  • Submit the purchase order to maintain housekeeping supplies at par levels. 
  • Assist with guest requests, problems and room availability, etc. 
  • Attend briefings ensuring that all relevant information is delivered to them. 
  • Sign in at the start of a shift and sign out at the end of the shift. 
  • Manage all lost and found items, records, storage and issue management, following standard procedures. 
  • Handle the department’s records for monthly attendance, right attendance, annual leave, sick leave, no-pay leave, etc. 
  • File all Housekeeping documents properly. 
  • Adhere to the hotel’s policies and procedures, Hilton code of business conduct, the hotel’s team member handbook, security and emergency policies and procedures. 
  • Perform any duties assigned by the Management team deemed necessary.

    A Housekeeping Trainee, serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:

  • Willing to learn about rooms division in the hotel industry.
