What you will be doing: 

In this role you will deter criminal activity by adhering to security measures including reviewing video surveillance to identify odd behaviors, patrol the interior and exterior of the hotel and implement emergency response activities as appropriate, while providing superior customer service.

Requirements to be successful in this role: 

• Prior experience in a Hyatt brand hotel or similar role in a comparable environment  
• Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at various social levels and across diverse cultures
• Have excellent English communication skills and able to read, write and speak fluently
• Good understanding of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
• Outstanding surveillance and observation skills
• Trained in First Aid/BLS and self-defense
• Registered as a security officer
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
