Retail Manager

The Opportunity 

Delaware North Travel and Hospitality is hiring a Retail Manager to join our team at Buffalo Airport in Buffalo, New York. As a Retail Manager, you will contribute to the efficiency and success of day-to-day retail operations.

Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $58458 - $76800 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. Responsibilities 

• Hire, train, and develop retail team members.
• Support building and executing both hourly and supervisory training programs.
• Provide support and direction to retail supervisors on implementation and company policies.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding alcohol, sanitation, payroll, and employment.
• Conduct and buildout inventory practices and systems.
• Review par levels regularly for purchasing of all F&B plus retail items to ensure outlet efficiencies.
• Lead by example and build culture throughout our units.
• Engage in weekly meetings and regional calls to collaborate on new practices and ideas to drive our business.
• Managing a team of 15 people or more.

Qualifications 

• Minimum of 3 years of retail management experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of retail operations experience preferred.
• Ability to train and develop a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and NetSuite.
• Routine involvement in purchasing and inventory counts/scrub.
• No degree required.

Physical Requirements 

• Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds
• Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and walking
