Chief Engineer

We are hiring a Chief Engineer at our brand-new AC Hotel, located in Clayton, Missouri. This is a 206-room hotel is located in the heart of Clayton – close to Shaw Park. Just a drive away to Galleria Park, Busch Stadium and the Gateway Arch.

Our Chief Engineer will oversee all maintenance systems and processes for the entire building. The ideal candidate will leverage our state-of-the-art maintenance systems to ensure the hotel operates efficiently and provides optimal guest and associate needs and comfort. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sets overall maintenance department goals, processes, or procedures to accomplish company objectives.
• Ensure adherence and compliance to corporate, safety and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Supervise and lead all maintenance technicians, processes, and operations.
• Track expenses and oversee the budget for maintenance.
• Deploy a refined approach to a preventative maintenance program to maintain all machinery and equipment to ensure it’s at working standards in guest rooms and public areas.
• Conduct preventative maintenance audits and develop corrective action plans to address deficiencies.
• Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.
• Plan and manage all repair and installation activities.
• Assign repair schedules and evaluate repair cost estimates.
• Document and prepare daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
• Oversee equipment stock and place orders for new supplies when necessary.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of five years of building management experience.
• Must have a working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including pumps, motors, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, and air handling equipment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated leadership ability.
• Commitment to succeed in a team-oriented environment.
• Dedication to safety measures and best practices.
• Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands.

Pay Range: $63,713 - $79,641
