Position Purpose

To provide Sales administration support to the Commercial Manager and be engaged in pro-active and re-active selling activities to exceed owner expectations concerning revenue generation and market share.

Duties & Key Responsibilities

Provide constructive suggestions/feedback to your Line Manager on products, processes and procedures to contribute to our continuous improvement efforts Be aware of planned team meetings and learning sessions and attend as required Volunteer to participate in company campaigns like Travel with Purpose or Team Member committees Execute any other duties as assigned by the GM and / or Commercial Manager

Sales Specifics

  • Support the Commercial Manager and / or Sales Manager by executing assigned commercial & Sales tasks dutifully and with a high degree of passion for selling
  • Compile and create commercial reports and statistics on request of the Commercial Manager
  • Plan and execute detailed action plans to support revenue generation in your assigned customer segment and beat the competition
  • Support the Commercial Manager administratively when preparing budgets, strategy plans, forecasts or marketing / PR plans
  • Actively and independently manage allocated accounts to achieve high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Help to ensure that all rates are loaded correctly in systems / channels
  • Invest time in searching for innovative approaches to generate revenue (also in F&B), sharing them on a regular basis with the Commercial Manager

A Group, Conference, and Events (GCE) Sales Coordinator serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

  • Demonstrated previous experience working in a Sales environment

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Knowledge of the hotel property management systems
  • Demonstrated previous experience working in the Conference and Events function
  • Qualification, degree, or certification in a relevant field
