Graphics Production Assistant

AGE REQUIREMENT: 21 years or older

Position Summary:

The Graphics Production Assistant at Isleta Resort & Casino will play a crucial role in supporting the casino's graphic and marketing initiatives. This position requires a dynamic individual with a strong passion for both graphic production and marketing strategies. The successful candidate will work closely with the marketing team to create engaging content that promotes the casino's brand and events.

Isleta Resort and Casino Guest Service Agreement

• Prepares original art and designs for various departments and/or campaigns, as assigned.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that all content aligns with the Isleta Resort and Casino's branding and marketing goals.
• Provides on-site support during events and promotions, capturing content for social media and promotional purposes.
• Coordinates with various departments to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives during events.
• Works closely with the Creative Manager and other team members to brainstorm and implement innovative marketing campaigns.
• Collaborates with external vendors and agencies for specific graphic production needs.
• Edits and optimizes multimedia content for various platforms, ensuring high-quality and brand consistency.
• Stays updated on industry trends and technologies to enhance IRC’s media production capabilities.
• Produces collateral, to include cut outs, promotional displays, laminating, gluing, grommeting etc.
• Supports and assists in any other departmental functions or areas or responsibilities, as required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Positive attitude towards guests.
• Strong computer skills, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel etc.
• Ability to perform under high stress with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication in English, both written and verbal.
• Commitment to organizational goals and confidentiality.
• Critical and analytical thinking skills.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Education and Experience:

• Associates in Multimedia, Graphic Arts, or related field, preferred.
• Proven experience in media production, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and trends.
• Proficiency in multimedia editing software Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel etc.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Special Requirements, Licenses, and Certification

• Must acquire and maintain a Gaming License issued through POIGRA.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and background investigation.
• Flexible work schedule, willingness to work any days/hours as needed.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Must be able to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift, move, and place 25 pounds.

Working Conditions:

Work is generally performed in, both, a casino setting with possible exposure to second-hand smoke and a high noise level, and a high paced office setting. Occasionally may be required to interact with hostile and/or angry guests.
