The Lorenzo Hotel, A Hilton Tapestry Collection Hotel, is looking for a Hilton knowledgeable Reservations Manager to join our incredible team!

Compensation: Based on experience, Full-Time

Responsible for all room reservations aspects from group to individual travelers.

 Provide guests with the highest level of personal service and deliver exceptional levels of service with every guest and every stay. Responsibilities including, but not limited to:

  • Process all group turn-overs: making new group file, sending introduction letter to group contact, verify cut-off date, send cut-off date reminders, and verifying room block and rate information from booking recap, hard block suites or special room requests
  • Communicate all group activity - pickup, attrition and contractual guidelines to Director of Sales
  • Communicate all group activity to Director of Sales to assist in making yield decisions
  • Review all guest reservations and profiles daily to prepare for arrivals, minimum of 2 days prior
  • Profile Maintenance - focus on profiles created by reservation agents, front desk check for dates entry standards (last names, address, etc...), verify that none of the new profiles are duplicates
  • Run all essential reports from OnQ including but not limited to reservation codes, traces, amenities, arrivals w/o client ID/Company and guest preferences
  • Monitoring and correcting various levels and standards of data entry into the Property Management System by different users in the hotel
  • Capture sales from in-coming reservations calls and coordinate details of each reservation.
  • Run daily reports for department, operational departments, Sales & Marketing, Managing Director, Department Heads
  • Answer General Reservations e-mail, retrieve and distribute mail and process gift certificates
  • Process group reservations, individual reservations and process payments
  • Run appropriate reports checking for special requests and hard blocking any rooms that are not hard blocked for special requests, inform Managing Director  and Director of Sales of any Special Attention, VIP
  • Contact guests or travel planners to clarify any discrepancies in the preferences or requests before guests' arrival
  • Review Same Day Reservations
  • Closely work with the Revenue Management Team and Sales Team

Job Requirements

  • One year or more hotel reservations management experience
  • OnQ – Hilton  experience a MUST
  • Revenue Management knowledge

Proficient in Microsoft Office products

Must be energetic, enthusiastic, organized and self-motivated

Ability to work as part of a team

Detail Oriented

Quick Thinker/Challenge Solver

Must be able to work a flexible schedule, based on hotel business needs
