This is a full-time on-site role as a Director of Sales at the New SpringHill Suites by Marriott located in Wixom MI. Outstanding hotel career development opportunity.
As the Director of sales, you will be responsible for overseeing sales inquiries and group Managment, developing sales strategies, building and managing a high-performing corporate and social accounts, and driving revenue growth. You will also collaborate with other departments to ensure effective sales and marketing efforts, manage key client relationships, and analyze market trends and competition to identify new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
Minimum one-year experience in hotel sales or hotel sales coordinator in the hotel industry.
Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods and techniques.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
Ability to analyze market trends and competition.
Knowledge of standard hotel platforms: Fosse, CI/TY, MarRFP, Cvent, Lanyon, Hotel Planner.
