Laundry Attendant

Job Description

Position Summary: As a Laundry Attendant at The Courtyard, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, both in public areas and behind the scenes in our laundry department. Your attention to detail and commitment to providing outstanding guest service will contribute to the success of our hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain public areas, including the lobby, corridors, and restrooms.
• Empty and properly dispose of trash bins in public spaces.
• Vacuum and maintain the cleanliness of carpets and floors.
• Restock supplies in public restrooms.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of meeting rooms or event spaces.
• Operate washing machines and dryers to clean linens.
• Sort, fold, and store clean laundry.
• Inspect and treat stained or damaged linens as needed.
• Keep laundry equipment and work areas clean and well-maintained.
• Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure efficient hotel operations.
• Provide exceptional guest service and assist guests as necessary.
• Maintain a friendly and helpful demeanor at all times when interacting with guests.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the hospitality industry preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Physical fitness to handle physically demanding tasks.
• Knowledge of laundry equipment operation and chemical handling (for laundry-related tasks).
