This is your chance to be part of a Finance Team that is a critical business partner that manages all global activities related to financial performance, accounting, tax, forecasting, risk management, and asset management. As an Analyst on the Commercial Services Finance team reporting to Manager, Commercial Services Finance, you will focus on carrying out monthly and annual budgeting and forecasting responsibilities, evaluating financial reports, and performing business analyses.

Requirements

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

• Evaluate monthly financial performance reports, identify trends, and prepare variance explanations
• Utilize PeopleSoft, Hyperion, and Excel to analyze large datasets and continuously improve financial models for accurate and rapid forecasts
• Produce Monthly Business Reviews, providing insights to business partners

How you will collaborate with others:

• Collaborate with Commercial Services and Accounting/Finance team to perform monthly accruals, manage month-end close process, and identify areas of financial risk and opportunity
• Provide additional support to Commercial Services Finance and Global Brands & Commercial Services (GBCS) functions as needed

What projects you will take ownership of:

• Play key role in preparing annual budgets and provide additional project support to Commercial Services business partners as determined by the GBCS Finance Leadership Team

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

• One (1) year of experience in Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Financial Reporting, or related finance/business roles
• Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and proficiency in building clear presentations

It would be useful if you have:

• BA/BA Bachelor's or MA/MS Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• Two (2) years of experience in Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Financial Reporting, or related finance/business roles
• Proficiency with Oracle Smart View and Hyperion Essbase
• Experience working with data/analytics and supporting the development of senior executive-level briefings on financial trends and forecast
• General understanding of accounting knowledge, specifically around accrual, cost allocation, and amortization
