Our Finance team serves as a critical business partner responsible for managing all global activities related to financial performance, accounting, tax, forecasting, risk management, and asset management. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Financial Planning and Operations Finance, you will lead a team providing strategic financial planning guidance across the enterprise.

What will I be doing?

  • Lead our enterprise-wide financial planning, budgeting, monthly business review, and forecasting processes, while collaborating with Finance Team Members around the world.
  • Be a trusted advisor to senior leadership providing the insights they need to drive financial results, provide controllership of corporate administrative expenses, and maintain integrity of operating and capital plans.
  • Responsible for 5-year Corporate Planning model to support Hilton’s long-term financial strategy.
  • Support Investor Relations and C-Suite in preparation materials for Earnings Releases, including enterprise-wide guidance and Board of Directors meetings.
  • Promote a continuous improvement culture, evolving business processes to maximize efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Manage the links between financial planning and analysis, financial systems, accounting, treasury, financial reporting, operations finance, global brands and commercial services finance, and corporate strategy.
  • Lead the FP&A team, providing strategic guidance to support their development and achievement of goals.
  • Establish a calendar and clear instructions for global planning assumptions setting targets, reviews, and due dates.

Requirements

  • Ability to interact with all levels of management and to cultivate relationships with partners globally.
  • The ability to clearly and concisely express ideas both verbally and in writing with proper context.
  • Solid project management skills, including handling details through to completion and ensuring project deliverables are met.
  • Strong analytical skills, facilitating collaborative issue resolution, proactive issue prevention, and nurturing analytical capabilities in Team Members.

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • Ten (10) or more years in Finance-related roles.
  • Five (5) years of management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience developing operating budgets, implementing a forecasting process, participating in the monthly close process, and developing financial reporting.
  • Five (5) years of management experience in an FP&A role.

It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Expertise in leading and motivating a team.
  • BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree/MBA.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking with ability to see the big picture.
  • Experience leading a financial planning and analysis function, with experience at Fortune 500 companies.
