Operating within the Global Brand Marketing Strategy Team, the Lifestyle Brand Marketing Strategy team drives and leads marketing strategy for an exciting portfolio of brands: Canopy by Hilton, Curio Collection by Hilton, Graduate Hotels, Motto by Hilton, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, Tempo by Hilton, and helps support initiatives across other Hilton brands. The Manager, Global Brand Marketing Strategy, will report to the Senior Director of Global Brand Marketing and contribute to the success of the team by supporting the development of marketing strategies and activities that drive brand health and commercial performance for one of Hilton’s category-leading brands.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • Support development of marketing plans and strategies, both long-term and short-term, to help achieve Brand commercial goals. With particular focus on social media and digital channels. 
  • Support leadership of projects to support brand marketing objectives. 
  • Support new opportunities to grow awareness, attract and retain specific target customer groups to our Lifestyle brands.
  • Enable a growing portfolio of hotels to market themselves locally by supporting the creation of centralized resources aligned with established brand identity guidelines.
  • Monitor success and opportunities for improvement in a test-and-learn environment to improve return on investment.
  • Present recommendations with inspiring visuals, and touches that adapt the information to make it concise and relevant for each audience.
  • Promote Hilton’s sustainability and DE&I goals in everything you do!

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Participate in category- and department-wide initiatives and represent the brands in task forces and interdepartmental efforts. 
  • Partner with Brand Management team and cross-functional brand operating partners to help ensure correct Brand positioning across the organization and global portfolio of properties.
  • Collaborate with partners at all levels across the enterprise, with a focus on Owners, Category, Global Brand Heads, and teams within the Marketing and Loyalty organization.

What projects you will take ownership of:

  • Help identify core research and metrics to inform consumer trends, promote efficiency of marketing output, and develop engaging creative.
  • Manage activities of internal and external agency partners to ensure on-strategy execution of high-impact brand marketing, including crafting clear briefs and facilitating creative reviews.  
  • Assist in the development and analysis of marketing performance dashboards.

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Five (5) years of work experience in marketing, advertising, brand management, or related field 
  • Two (2) years of experience managing agency partners or integrated marketing teams, crafting distinctive consumer campaigns (digital and social experience)
  • Experience managing marketing performance and identifying actionable insights.
  • Experience communicating complex ideas to make recommendations and summarize results and areas of opportunity (both verbally and written)
  • Ability to travel as needed, up to 20%, domestically and internationally.
  • Ability to work from the McLean, VA office

It would be useful if you have:

  • BA/BS Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business
  • Marketing experience in the hospitality or consumer goods industry
  • Knowledge of franchise organizations and experience working within a franchise organization.
  • Experience working on a global brand and within a global company.
